The Workforce Committee, comprised of business, government and education entities, enhances a vibrant economy by understanding workforce needs and aligning resources to meet business demands.
We achieve this mission through:
- ACCREDITED HR EMPLOYEE SEMINARS
Employer seminars are approved for HRCI and SHRM credits, which apply toward professional development certification. Employer seminars are held to address current needs of human resource professionals.
- HR TOOLS & RESOURCES
The committee helps businesses find and connect with important HR resources including associations, hiring solutions, research data and more. In particular, the committee works to address the hiring needs of all types of businesses throughout the community.
- WORKFORCE LEGISLATION
The Workforce Committee works closely with the Legislative Affairs Committee to identify and address pertinent legislative issues. The committee creates and supports legislation that addresses the needs of both employers and employees.

MEETINGS
