Chamber Events

This virtual event takes place the first Thursday of each month and is free to all employees of Chamber members. Attendees enjoy inspiring presentations given by experts from various disciplines. This event is held via Zoom and recorded for access in the Member Information Center.

Business After Hours is the Chamber’s premier networking event held on the second Wednesday of each month and is free to all employees of Chamber members. This event is hosted by a Chamber member organization and features refreshments, an experiential activity and networking.

The Women in Business Committee hosts monthly luncheons on the fourth Tuesday of each month to promote professionalism, personal development and service to the community.

The community is invited along with our Spiker ambassador committee and community leaders to attend these exciting events celebrating the success of our growing community.

Our Board of Governors gather quarterly to discuss topics with economic impact in northern Utah. These events include site tours, insider discussions, roundtables, an annual retreat, and a Christmas luncheon.

This event is patterned after the Academy Awards! The community is invited in April to celebrate the achievements of Weber County’s business community. Chamber members are nominated in signature award categories and recipients are announced on stage at Peery’s Egyptian Theater. The public is invited to get dressed up and enjoy local entertainment. The Golf Classic is the Chamber’s only fundraising event held each August. Attendees enjoy networking opportunities while supporting the Chamber’s mission to advance business and community prosperity in Weber County. Members can participate as a sponsor, golfer or volunteer. This event also features an online auction for gift packages and experiences from local organizations. See More

This bi-annual event is a partnership between the Chamber and Weber State University’s Goddard School of Business & Economics and sponsored by our Keystone and Cornerstone Partners. The NUBIZ Symposium takes an in-depth approach to business topics including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Leadership. This half-day conference features thought leaders who educate and inspire. Attendees rub shoulders with business leaders from all industries.

A companion to the Northern Utah Business Symposium, the Economic Forecast, held each February, provides a premier economic outlook for the northern Utah region. In partnership with Bank of Utah and Weber State University’s Goddard School of Business & Economics, the forecast features leaders from key industries such as aerospace, real estate, health care, education and finance with a keynote economist with expertise in northern Utah.

The Partners in Education Committee hosts an annual Appreciation Breakfast to recognize businesses for their noteworthy partnerships with local schools. Awards are given for elementary, secondary, community and charter school partners and the Champion Award is given to a partner who reaches across district lines.

This premier conference, put on by the Women in Business Committee, helps raise awareness for the ATHENA® Leadership Award and brings presenters and hundreds of women together to celebrate excellence, improve quality of life and empower women.

This special luncheon celebrates the nominees and recipient of the ATHENA® Leadership Award given by the Women in Business Committee. This event is held each January.

Partner-level members receive complimentary tickets to a special Partner’s Appreciation Event (golf, movie premiere, or other outing) each year and have the opportunity to network with other community leaders.
