The Larsens and their team were celebrated for the impact they’ve made on businesses and job seekers across Utah in their first year of ownership. By investing in their team and staying focused on the fundamentals, they strengthened partnerships with local businesses and delivered consistent results in a competitive hiring environment. Their ability to show up for employers when it mattered most is reflected in a fill rate above 90% sustained for more than six months, helping companies keep operations running and meet demand.
That same commitment to hands-on partnership and follow-through led to recognition across multiple categories. Their strong overall performance earned the President’s Award, while their efforts supporting a major on-site workforce and becoming a trusted, go-to partner drove their On-Premise of the Year win. In addition, their rapid success and strong leadership in their first year of ownership secured Rookie of the Year honors, underscoring the positive impact they are already making across the communities they serve.

The 2026 Spherion National Meeting was held in Baltimore, Maryland, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel from March 18-21. Uniting franchisees, corporate leaders and strategic partners from across the country for several days of learning and celebration, this year’s company-wide gathering was especially meaningful as Spherion marks its 80th anniversary in 2026, celebrating eight decades of connecting businesses with talent and strengthening local communities.
Team members participated in educational sessions focused on topics relevant to the 2026 hiring reality, such as the importance of human interaction, legal trends, and using AI tools to grow revenue. The meeting concluded with Spherion’s Awards & 80th Anniversary Celebration, recognizing top-performing franchisees and offices whose leadership and results exemplify the brand’s commitment to excellence.
