SALT LAKE CITY – The SBA Utah District Office announced FY22 top performing SBA Lenders. These lenders provided the most capital and support to small businesses throughout Utah. U.S. Small Business Administration loans are designed to help small businesses access financing that they may not be able to obtain through traditional lending channels. These loans are made by approved lenders and partially guaranteed by the SBA. The guarantee lowers the risk to lenders allowing more small businesses access to capital. SBA loans typically have a lower down payment and longer repayment terms than conventional loans, making them a much more affordable for business owners.
The Utah SBA Lender Award Winners will be recognized on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the SBA Utah District Office’s National Small Business Week Award Ceremony. National Small Business Week has been celebrated each year since 1964 when the President of the United States issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week to recognize the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. Each year during National Small Business Week the Utah District Office recognizes a select number of small businesses who have persevered during unexpected trials, shown resourcefulness in difficult times, and triumphed despite unavoidable setbacks.
