Ogden Preparatory Academy (OPA) is a charter school in Ogden, offering a high-quality, tuition-free education with a private school feel. As the first charter school in Ogden, OPA has been dedicated to academic excellence since opening its doors in 2003. Celebrating over 20 years of success, OPA continues to provide students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for the future.
OPA is divided into three campuses:
- Early Childhood Center (Preschool & Kindergarten)
- Elementary Campus (1st–6th Grade)
- Junior High (7th–9th Grade)
Beyond the classroom, OPA offers a structured after-school program that supports academic growth and hands-on learning. Students also receive weekly Spanish courses, encouraging fluency in a second language. OPA emphasizes real-world learning through field trips, and junior high students even have the opportunity to travel to Spain, the Redwoods, and the Oregon Coast!
At OPA, students are set up for success—without the tuition costs. With strong academics, community involvement, and unique learning experiences, OPA is shaping the future of education in Ogden.
