Ogden Nature Center Announces Winter Community Programs 

Ogden, Utah Fall, 2025 — This new year, the Ogden Nature Center (ONC) invites the community to explore, learn, and connect with nature through a wide variety of engaging programs. No matter your interest, from crafts to chocolate, ONC’s Winter Community Programs are designed to inspire all ages. 

Winter 2026 Community Programs: 

Make Your Own Hiking Stick [Max 30 each class] 

  • Decorate a hiking stick that matches your adventurous vibe! Use your creation to explore the trails of the Nature Center while you complete a scavenger hunt!  
  • Dates: Jan. 17 at 10:00 am and 2 pm  
  • Admission: $5 members / $11 non-members  
  • All ages  

Chocolate Tasting 

  • Learn the history of cacao and chocolate! Enjoy fine flave bean to bar chocolate through a guided chocolate tasting with ethical Seek Chocolate Shop owner, Tye Marie Reeder.  
  • Dates: January 31. 2 pm. 
  • Admission: $30 members / $35 non-members  
  • All ages  

Watercolor Date Night

  • This Valentine’s season, enjoy a painting class led by local artist Susan Snyder. After a short icebreaker activity, Susan will lead you step-by-step through a watercolor painting project. 
  • Date: February 12. From 7-9 pm.  
  • Admission: $50 members / $60 non-members
    • Prices include 2 tickets.  
  • All ages
