New HIPE event comes to Ogden!

Hill Industry partner Exchange

February 24th, 2026

We’re excited to introduce HIPE, a 3-day event built to strengthen industry engagement across the U.S. Air Force and the wider defense supply chain.

What started as a collaborative concept between the Aerospace and Defense industry of Northern Utah & the State of Utah — has resulted in the creation of the Hill Industry Partner Exchange (HIPE) event.

This three day outreach experience provides a unique opportunity for aerospace & supply chain professionals to meet & discuss current issues, trends, lessons learned, technology, requirements, and the future of the USAF supply chain.

Professionals from military, state government, industry, and academia will join at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center. This year’s theme will be centered on, “Rapidly Changing Environments.” Attendees will hear from industry innovators, academia, State representatives and military keynote speakers.

The world is evolving at an unprecedented pace due to technology, globalization, cultural shifts and unpredictable events. Discussions will highlight how leaders from the aerospace industry and the supply chain must identify changes, overcome risk, and rapidly implement plans to increase capacity.

This event brings together key stakeholders – including manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers, and industry experts – to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and innovations shaping global supply networks. The conference fosters collaboration by providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnerships that drive efficiency, resilience, and sustainability in supply chains.

Attendees gain insights into cutting-edge technologies, regulatory updates, and best practices which optimize operations while mitigating risks. By addressing issues such as digital transformation, supply chain disruptions, and evolving consumer demands, this event helps businesses stay competitive and adaptable in an increasingly changing marketplace!

HIPE aims to exchange knowledge between stakeholders. In addition to keynote speakers, there will be opportunities for companies to sign-up for Supplier Search Interviews (SSI) directly with USAF supply chain personnel. There are also opportunities for industry to present a brief capabilities presentation as well. There will be breakout sessions from each of the 748th Supply Chain Management Group’s squadrons where representatives will be on hand to provide mission requirement information. An engineering representative will also be available to discuss technical issues/challenges. Professionals from Air Force Contracting, DLA Contracting, Small Business Office HAFB, Strategic Alternative Sourcing Program Office (SASPO), Weber State University, and State of Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity will all be on hand to answer questions as well.

Representatives from the HAFB supply chain will be discussing their current & future requirements that support sustainment capabilities for some of today’s most critical weapon platforms within the USAF. Government representatives will be conducting market research by engaging with private industry looking for ways to improve its acquisition process and gaining insight into new supply chain technologies being in today’s marketplace. Information will be presented in a variety of formats from large group speaking engagements, focused breakout sessions, and individual supplier search interviews (based upon first come/first served sign-up availability).

HIPE brings suppliers, engineers, logisticians, and contracting professionals together to support mission readiness through direct connection with units across Hill Air Force Base and the 748th Supply Chain Management Group.

Breakout sessions. Supplier Search Interviews. Capabilities presentations.
All in one place and built for collaboration, clarity, and impact.

Let’s get to work.
