Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help small businesses grow and create jobs by providing them with greater access to education, capital, and business support services. To date, more than 12,8000 business owners have graduated from the program across all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.

Through the program, you will gain skills across topics such as financial statements negotiation, marketing, and employee management, and gain the tools to develop a customized business plan for growth – for free.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, the business owner must have:

Been in business for at least two years

Have over $75,000 in annual revenues

Have two employees (or partners, etc.)

A desire to grow and contribute to their community


What is provided to participants?

A scholarship that covers the full cost of tuition and materials ($15,000 value)

A highly practical course to develop skills for business growth (using subject matter experts as instructors)

Lessons that can immediately benefit each business

A business Advisor to meet with 6-8 times during the program


What is required of Selected Participants?

Commit to attend 12 learning sessions over 14 weeks (8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)

Participation in clinics and workshops (4)

Meeting with a Business Advisor 6-8 times

Completion of a personalized growth plan
