Farmers Market Ogden’s Winter Market Expands to Six-Week Season

Expanded season brings 70+ local vendors and free workshops and activities as part of the America 250 celebration

Ogden, UT – Farmers Market Ogden’s Winter Market returns to Union Station Saturday, January 24 with a newly expanded six-week season featuring over 70 local vendors each week alongside free programming tied to the year-long America 250 celebration. The market will run every Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through February 28.

The expanded season is expected to draw approximately 3,000 shoppers downtown each Saturday for fresh winter produce, baked goods, prepared hot foods, and handmade artisan crafts. The market provides critical economic support to local vendors during traditionally slower winter months.

“Winter Market has always been about showing up for our community year-round,” said Jessica Anderson, Marketing & Communications Manager. “This season, we’re doubling down on that commitment while celebrating what makes Ogden strong: local farmers, growers, artisans, and the networks of people who support them.”

The market will also support the Weber Fridge by collecting weekly food donations. Shoppers are encouraged to purchase fresh and packaged items at the market and drop them off at the Information Booth to help keep the community fridge stocked. Donations will be accepted every Saturday throughout the Winter Market season.

Each Saturday will feature free activities and workshops centered around themes of local food and resilience, celebrating shared knowledge and contributions, unity, and civic engagement as part of Ogden and Weber County’s America 250 celebration events.

The season will conclude on February 28 with a community seed swap hosted in partnership with the Ogden Seed Exchange, helping residents prepare for the upcoming growing season.
