The Legislative Affairs Committee (LAC) represents the broad interests of organizations throughout Weber county and takes positions on current legislation, as well as advances legislation, that impacts the community.
Members of the committee represent small and large businesses, utilities, county and municipal governments, transportation and healthcare organizations, K-12 and higher education organizations, and nonprofits. Together these organizations come together to discuss legislation important to them, and through the committee, have a greater voice in public policy.
