The Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce honored the business community on Thursday, April 15 at the Annual Gala held at Peery’s Egyptian Theater. Recognition was given to individuals and organizations for their commitment to excellence, involvement in the Chamber and support of the community in 2020. This year’s program included local entertainers and remarks from the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce Board Officers.
Master of Ceremonies and local comedian, Craig Bielik engaged the audience, recognized sponsors and introduced entertainers.
In addition to signature annual awards, recognition was given to recipients of major committee awards including the ATHENA Leadership Award presented by the Women in Business committee, Sue Westenskow Award presented by the Partners in Education committee, and the Western Big Hat Award presented by the Top of Utah Military Affairs committee.
Two Chamber Impact Awards were given to recognize significant efforts made in the community and within the Chamber. Weber County and Ogden City governments were recognized for their combined work in managing the delivery of the federal CARES Grant in 2020. The Standard-Examiner were recognized for working closely with the Chamber to create a new Community Guide and Business Directory publication.
The Small Business of the Year Award is presented to a business in Weber County with fewer than 100 employees that has actively engaged in the Chamber and demonstrated innovative approaches to small business, providing exceptional products and services.
The Monarch was named Small Business of the Year and recognized among finalists, Huntsville Square and Mountain Donuts. View finalist video. This award was proudly sponsored by Wasatch Pharmacy Care, recipient of the award in 2018.
The Large Business of the Year Award is presented to a business in Weber County with more than 100 employees that is actively engaged in the Chamber, are leaders in their industries and are a positive and moving force in building business and community prosperity in Weber County.

The Volunteer of the Year Award is given to a person with passion for community service. You find these people almost everywhere giving of themselves and improving the lives of others.

The Chairperson of the Year Award is given to an exceptional leader of one of the Chamber’s action-based committees. These leaders are known for rolling up their sleeves and uniting diverse groups of people toward a common purpose.

The Wall of Fame Award is presented to Weber County’s most influential leaders. Inductees have made significant contributions to promote and enhance our community. They have devoted their time, talent, and financial support in professional and personal endeavors to enhance the quality of life in our area.
