Women in Business Leadership Awards
The Women in Business Leadership awards are presented to individuals who are recognized for professional excellence, for providing valuable service to the Ogden-Weber community and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. These awards highlight what recipients have accomplished in addition to blazing the trail for future success.
ATHENA Leadership and Trailblazer Award recipients are those who live and/or work in Weber County and who embody the ATHENA Leadership Principles:
- Live Authentically: Knows her values and leads with purpose and integrity.
- Learn Constantly: Commits to continuous learning, curiosity, and personal growth.
- Advocate Fiercely: Champions what is right and supports the advancement of others.
- Act Courageously: Stands up for her convictions, challenges the status quo, and takes calculated risks.
- Foster Collaboration: Builds cooperative environments where diverse ideas and talents are welcomed.
- Build Relationships: Connects with others through empathy, respect, and compassion.
- Give Back: Serves her colleagues and community.
- Celebrate: Applauds milestones and achievements.
Women in Business Leadership Award nominations are open January 1 – October 1 (submissions received after that will be considered for the following year). The selection committee will convene in October to review nominations and select the ATHENA Leadership and Trailblazer Award recipients.
