Cassidy Miller
Weber State University Alumni Association
Cassidy graduated from Weber State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication with an emphasis in Technical Writing. Cassidy has been employed in the marketing field for four years and has worked as the Weber State University Alumni Relations’ Alumni Marketing Coordinator for the past two years. She met and married her husband, Nathan, while they both attended WSU. When she’s not spending time with Nathan, Cassidy can be found reading historical fiction or shopping at a local thrift or consignment store.

Madison Spigel
Ogden Recycling
Madison Spigel, born in Salt Lake City but raised in the Midwest, returned to Utah last year for her current role in scrap metal recycling. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Utah and earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin. With a decade of experience in scrap metal recycling, Madison began as a scale operator and has since grown into leadership roles. She is currently opening a new metal recycling facility in Payson, UT as well as working out of the Clearfield and Ogden Recycling facilities.

Tayler is a passionate leader making a lasting impact in Northern Utah. As the Events Manager for United Way of Northern Utah, she leads meaningful community projects with creativity and purpose. Tayler actively supports local initiatives through volunteerism while leveraging skills learned as an LNU and Project Blueprint graduate. She uses her strengths to give back to the community by serving on the Women Empowered committee – helping inspire professional growth through Women in Business. Tayler is honored to be a finalist for this award.

She serves on the board of YCC Family Crisis Center, is a member of the Ogden-Weber Chamber Board of Governors, the Spikers, and Ogden Rotary Club. Hanson is an ambassador for Enable Utah, volunteers with The Family Promise of Ogden, and helped create a sports complex for kids in central Ogden. She is a mother of four, lives in Ogden, and is a University of Utah communications graduate.

Cristopher Dale Fowers grew up in Hooper, where he currently lives with his wife, Brittany, and children, Cora and Jonas. Cris grew up working on their family farm, milking cows, raising beef cattle, and growing crops. He still values the lessons learned about being a good steward of the land.
After serving a two-year LDS mission to southern Argentina, Cris attended Weber State and earned a double major in Communications and Spanish. He also graduated from the Weber Institute of Religion.
Cris currently works for the Boyer Company at Business Depot Ogden and volunteered as a chair for Leadership Northern Utah.

ROBERT HARRIS
When he was seven years old, Bob’s school teacher asked the class what they wanted to do when they grew up. Bob volunteered that he wanted to be a judge at the U.S. Supreme court. Well, he didn’t make this mark. But, after retirement from principally serving as vice president and general counsel for two Fortune 500 companies, he donned a black robe for 27 years hearing over 600 cases in Utah’s state courts.
Of late, he sponsored annual recognitions for Weber State’s outstanding teachers. He also sponsored a two-year pilot program to provide mentoring for Weber State students.
Bob has served as president of four local organizations, all seeking to enrich our community.
MARCIA HARRIS
Born and reared in Binghamton, NY and after finishing her studies she moved to California
With marriage, three children and lots of adventures in 1990 they moved to Ogden which opened a whole new world of skiing and hiking.
Travel has always been high on her list and she has traveled in almost 100 countries and all seven continents.
In Ogden Marcia was able to find lots of meaningful work in Planned Parenthood, the League of Women Voters, The trail Foundation, Hospice of Northern Utah, Catholic Community Services and the Weber County Library.
