Chance Hadley is a dedicated mortgage professional, leader, and community advocate who has spent over five years with Guild Mortgage, where he currently serves as a Sales Manager after being promoted earlier this year. Throughout his career as a loan officer, Chance has built a reputation for integrity, consistency, and a people-first approach—values that have guided both his professional growth and his leadership style. Chance has been an active member of the Ogden Weber Chamber of Commerce for more than five years and is deeply grateful for the relationships and opportunities it has provided. In 2025, he proudly served as Chairperson of the Contacts 1 Committee, an experience he found especially meaningful as a way to give back to a community that supported him from the very beginning of his career. Outside of work, Chance’s greatest joy is his family. He and his wife, Monica—a nurse—have been married since June of 2019 after meeting in 2018 through coworkers at the Layton Hills Mall. Together, they are raising their two daughters, Olivia (2½) and Ella (1), who keep life joyful, busy, and full of perspective. When he’s not working, Chance can usually be found spending time with his girls, firing up the grill, enjoying the outdoors, or squeezing in a workout at the gym. Grounded in family, driven by service, and grateful for community, Chance is honored to be nominated and remains committed to leading, serving, and growing alongside the people who have shaped his journey.

Wendy Spradley has spent more than 14 years serving individuals and families within the senior healthcare industry, guided by a deep belief that people thrive when they feel seen, heard, and cared for. She currently works with Brighten Life Home Health and is the owner of Advanced Homecare Assistance, a company dedicated to providing meaningful, non-clinical check-in calls for seniors, homebound individuals, and anyone seeking more connection and reassurance in their daily lives.
At the heart of Wendy’s work is a genuine love for people. Family, friends, neighbors, and community members know her as someone who shows up without judgment, prejudice, or bias. She is often found quietly offering a helping hand, a thoughtful word, or simply listening, creating space for others to feel valued and understood. Her approach to care and connection is rooted in compassion, dignity, and respect, qualities that have shaped both her professional path and her personal mission.
Beyond her professional roles, Wendy is deeply involved in community service and charitable initiatives. Since 2014 she has been involved with Round to Honor, a golf tournament that raises funds to send Veterans to Washington, D.C., allowing them to visit memorials dedicated to their service and to experience firsthand the gratitude of a nation. Her commitment to honoring others also extends to her long-standing support of the Alzheimer’s Association. Since 2015, Wendy has organized a creative and engaging lip sync fundraising event, Syncing For A Cause, blending fun, community participation, and purpose to support Alzheimer’s awareness and research. It’s near to her heart because her grandmother passed from Alzheimer’s as well as many people she’s worked with and has loved through the years.
Wendy is also the creator of “Christmas on the Lawn,” a heartfelt initiative she began with her young family to provide free gifts and essential items to individuals and families who may be facing financial hardship during the holidays. What started as a quiet, behind-the-scenes act of kindness has grown steadily over the years. In 2025, Christmas on the Lawn celebrated its 20th year, marking a meaningful milestone. While Wendy carried this tradition privately for many years, the past three years have included friends and community members, transforming the event into a shared experience of generosity, connection, and joy. It has grown into something truly beautiful, reflecting the power of community coming together with open hearts.
Through her professional work and volunteer efforts alike, Wendy Spradley continues to be driven by one simple belief: that caring for people, loving well, and creating moments of connection can change lives, one conversation and one act of kindness at a time.
