  • This virtual event took place on July 8, 2020 with three financial experts from Mountain America Credit Union. Topics included PPP loans, CARES Act funding, financial education for employees, CARES Act affect on 401(k) contributions.

    Brian Urie, CFP, CPFA is a retirement plan advisor specializing in company retirement plans and retirement planning for business owners. Brian provides advice and solutions through LPL Financial.

    Robert Steed is a financial education manager and focuses on connecting people with their motivating why with the what and how of their financial behavior.

    David Christiansen is part of the Small Business Lending team, helping business members grow their companies and start new ones.

  • This virtual event was held June 11, 2020 with The Local Artisan Collective and Industrial Art & Design. We discussed the role the arts play in the Ogden community and how businesses and individuals can support! We also enjoyed an art project making flowers for wood turned candlestick holders.

  • This virtual Morning Speaker Series took place on June 4, 2020 with Randy Watt, Chief of Police, Ogden City Police Department. He discussed the Five Ps to Success in Life, Love, and Labor.

    In honor of fallen Officer, Nate Lyday, the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce has setup a memorial fund. All proceeds will be donated in his memory to the Ogden City Police Department. Chamber Members and the public alike are invited to make a contribution via check or credit card until June 19th at which time a single check will be presented to the Department.   • This virtual event took place on May 27, 2020. Attendees learned from Dr. Anita Fleming-Rife, President and CEO of AmericaOne Diversity & Inclusion Solutions. She discussed ways each of us can build a business culture of inclusivity and diversity by identifying beliefs and behaviors associated with stereotyping, micro-aggressions, unconscious and implicit bias — and replacing these with enabling practices.

  • This Webinar took place on April 3, 2020 with Sales Director of Answer Financial, Shawn Powers. He shares best practices for a smooth transition to a remote workforce.

  • This video was taken from a Board of Governors meeting held virtually on April 2, 2020. Leaders from the Ogden-Weber community discuss how their businesses are handling challenges and adjusting to new norms during the COVID-19 health crisis.
